Bhookh - a Click Site for Hunger in India  Click every day to help the hungry. ">http://www.bhookh.com/

Some pertinent quotes:  "The chronic hunger and malnutrition that afflicts 300 million children worldwide does not create the dramatic media coverage of a tsunami, but it causes far greater suffering." James T. Morris, WFP Executive Director --

"The number of people who fell prey to Hitler's insanity was 6 million and the 'silent holocaust of hunger' is killing over 13 million people every year." Sanhati --

"Estimates of general undernourishment - what is sometimes called protein-energy malnutrition - are nearly twice as high in India as in Sub-Saharan Africa." Amartya Sen, Nobel Prize winner --

What you and I do and think counts! What we are counts.....we are an integral part of a mighty whole. What we know in our finite center broadcasts itself throughout the Universe.......Whether we like it or not we are taking part in a continuous creation.

BIOENERGY HEALING A LA ZDENKO DOMANCIC, WORLD-RENOWNED HEALER.  WATCH IT.  IT COULD CHANGE YOUR LIFE.  I HAVE LONG BELIEVED IN THIS TYPE OF HEALING.

The world is so empty if one thinks only of mountains, rivers, and cities; but to know someone who thinks and feels with us, and who, though distant is close to us in spirit, this makes the earth for us an inhabited garden.

~ Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

Every forest branch moves differently in the breeze, but as they sway they connect at the roots.

Attitudes (Attitude is Everything)

When you extend pure love to everyone with selfless motivation that is an attitude of kindness. When you send good wishes and pure feelings to those who are in deep sorrow, that is an attitude of mercy. When you see the virtues rather than the weaknesses in people that is an attitude of compassion. When you bless and uplift someone even as they defame you, that is an attitude of forgiveness. When you tolerate a situation and take responsibility as well as give cooperation even when not appreciated, that is an attitude of humility and self-respect. Every second, every moment and every breath of your life is nurtured by attitude.

Hello Care2 friends.  I'm primarily just signing petitions these days from Care2 and am spending most of my time on Facebook - advocating for dogs and cats. I'm Susan Collins or possibly Susan Snow Collins and my logo is a big red eye. See you there maybe.  I still remember my Care2 friends but there are a LOT of dogs and cats that need saving.  Love to all.

Quietly, billions of bees are being killed off across the country threatening our crops and food. But a ban of one group of pesticides could save bees from extinction.

Four European countries have begun banning the poisons and bee populations are recovering. But chemical companies are lobbying hard to keep all killer pesticides on the market. A global outcry now for a ban in the US and EU, where debate is raging, could provoke a total ban and a ripple effect around the world.

Let’s build a giant global buzz calling for these dangerous chemicals to be outlawed until and unless they are proved to be safe. Sign the petition to save bees and our crops and send this to everyone:

    Kudos
