I'm a student, a mom, and I work in an afterschool program reminding kids that no matter what, they can make a difference. I wouldn't trade my job(s) for the world.
If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by
Education Reform!
1) Teachers would be paid according to performance and evaluation.
2) Tracking systems would be abolished. All students should have the same, high expectations.
3) More fun academic activities would be put into afterschool programs. If a student spends every day in an afterschool program, they would receive 90 more days of instruction. Let's utilize that statistic.
