My family: 38 and 37 year old son and daughter, 12 year old son who is uncle to 3 year old grandson.
And I never had wisdom teeth. Is this Wild? Don't know.
Live and let live. Don't intentionally hurt anyone or anything. Respect and care for our Planet.
Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. Aim for excellence or at
least do your best. (Does not always work for me)
What Gives Me Hope
Depends on the day, but a smile or kindly gesture from a stranger, encouragement from family and friends, genuine affection from our cats. Seeing positive values in the life of my children. People doing good deeds for animals, environment and the
Poor of the World.
And, of course, the lottery 6/49 weekly draw. (smile)
If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by
Start listening to the People who elected me and
do their bidding. Crack down on corporate greed
and irresponsibility. Honor my commitments and
promises. Never lose sight of who I was before and
don't let all that power go to my head. And then I would resign because I would not be able to sleep at night from all the responsibility and thinking whether I made the right decisions.
What/who changed my life and why
All of Gerald Durrell's books and David Attenborough's movies. Rachel Carson and her books on the oceans. Michael Moore, Farley Mowat movies and books.
My mother introduced me to good literature. My husband taught me to think "outside the box"
"It is the conflict between those who possess the means and the will to exploit the living world to destruction and those who are banding together in a desperate and last-ditch attempt to prevent the New Juggernaut from trashing our small planet.
If the right side wins, this combat may become known to future generations as the Crusade that Rescued the Earth. If the wrong side wins - there will be no future generations."
