What Gives Me Hope growing awareness of global warming
If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by It's time to stop the hegemony of neoliberal thinking and start taking other things in account instead of stating that the free market is the highest good to be achieved. It is simple: without a healthy environment there would be no humanity and hence no economy!!! So... Economy is important, but it is not primordial; our environment is.
We should stop the power of the oil industry and other polluting industries and instead promote sustainable development.
Think global, act local!
