About Me	I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I am a 64 3/4 year old Mom and Gramma and fairly new Great-Gramma. I am longing to be able to see and hold my 4 month old Great-Grandson. I now am getting the experience of living alone for the 3rd or 4th time in my life, though the others were quite brief, this time looks to be an extended one. I have been very blessed to have so very many beautiful and loving people in my life. I believe I am a composite of all of them. I believe also, that when we truly connect with a person, we take a little of them into our being and always have them with us. I love animals, and the cruelty in our world which harms them saddens me. I sign all of the petitions for their protection and wish more people would do the same! The same is true of children ... I love them dearly and it just sickens my heart to hear of the atrocities that they suffer! I also sign any petitons which will care for the interest of these precious innocents! I have many interests, but, little gets done, because I can't seem to get myself away from this screen and keyboard long enough! However, I have forced myself to begin reading again, through the example of a close friend. :) Thanks Paulette! :) I am actually enjoying it and have almost finshed the first book! LOL I saw a neat quote the other day, and that is what I am trying to do. It said: "Make you life match your aspirations!" I thought that once I quit drinking (25 years ago) and quit smoking (4 years ago) I would be a pretty good person ... LOL Well, I'm not a bad person, really, but, I have a whole lot to work on still ... :) I don't know if it is harder working from the inside - out, or working from the outside - in ... LOL both sides are pretty stuffed I guess ... I find myself in a point in my life where I am realizing that it is too late to do many of the things I had hoped to be able to do ... like scuba diving, riding in a ballon, living on a houseboat, deepsea fishing, but, on the other hand, my life is and has been rich, because of my family and my friends and my Church and of course, Heavenly Father and His blessed son, Jesus Christ! So, I work on Genealogy, chat online with my kids, sign petitons, send forwards which I think are beneficial, to my friends and fellow Saints. Also, I belong to a crochet club (another thing I am trying to renew) :) I look for things to do to better my world and my life, that don't cost anything or not too much, because I am receiving disabililty and it doesn't have a lot of stretch in it ... lol I have several groups on Yahoo ... I will list them later. I have been a waittress, a machine operator, an injection mold operator, a grocery bagger, a water treatment salesperson, (and many other sales, lol) and my longest job - a Home Health Aide. However, after going through 2 bouts of cracked ribs and pheumonia, and then breast cancer, all in a period of 2 years, I wasn't able to go back to work, and then I also went on oxygen because of having C.O.P.D. So,I have been retired for 7 years now. I put my hometown as Livonia, because that is where I was raised, and went to school at Clarenceville. But, I now live in Central Michigan in the little town of Big Rapids. I did live in Mt Pleasnt, but moved to Ludington, but, decided to move here. I am happy here and love my aprtment! :) I have a beautiful view of the Muskegon River out my living room window. That is probably as close as I will ever get to livng on the water, LOL

What/who changed my life and why	My Daughter - Christine, who first witnessed to me about the Mormon Church, the Missionary Sisters and Elders who gave me instructions, Julie Spencer and her Husband who were helpful in getting the Sisters to my home and getting me to Church and the Big Rapids Branch who helped me move "in one day" (including packing!)and were such a wonderful testimony of the selflessness and love of the Saints! Also, the same goes with my beloved Brothers and Sisters of the Mt Pleasant Ward where I was Baptised, along with my Grand-daughter and daughter! They gave SO much, in love, time, help and even finances ... they helped me build the base of my testimony and will always be my FIRST Family! Without their help, I would never have made it this far. Their kind hearts, sweet spirits and knowledge of the Restored Gospel has been a tremendous benefit in my life and my growth . Both families are in my heart forever!
