My Philosophy Just one person in this world can effect change by showing compassion.
What Gives Me Hope That people have not yet lost all hope.
If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by Fully fund animal shelters, schools, day-care, and elder-care. Make it possible for people to care for themselves, kids, and elders without worrying about their next meal. Make a society where respect for animals is just as important and expected as love for one's human family.
What/who changed my life and why First, my feline soul-mate Xerox, because she saved my life--both physically and spiritually. Second, traveling through foreign countries via "people's" modes (local bus, etc). It opened my mind to so many ways of thinking! It made me love people, it made me see the cruelty among people, it made me both appreciate and question what I have and why I have it, for good and bad.
