||I'm a BBW who has finally found peace in my world. I'm learning that no matter what label society feels fits me...none ever really do. And I like that. I'm a nature lover and feel that humans need to back off this planet and end their never ending lust for power and what they call "progress". Stop building buildings and start building forests. We don't need anymore places to shop or businesses who leech off of us. I guess I'm also a bit bitter and jaded in this world. And I'm ok with that too.

|Wild Fact About Me
||No idea what to put here. My mind goes several places but I'm pretty sure where my mind is going isn't what is meant by "Wild Facts"! LOL So I think I'll wait until I'm more familiar with the site before I fill this in! LOL
||The definition of Philosophy is from the Greek root meaning "the love of Wisdom". In college my philosopher professor called me "a true modern day philosopher". In that moment I was on top of the world and felt honored by such a compliment. I still do. However, to say I have a philosophy would be to diminish the meaning of the word. I do, however, have a motto or rules I live by. My main motto is "Don't Be Afraid Of Who You Are. Be True To Who You Are." That's far more difficult than it sounds I promise you.
|What Gives Me Hope
||That depends. What gives me hope for what, exactly? I have hope for many things.
|If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by
||Start over. The Declaration of Independence states: "--That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. " Therefor I would Abolish the current governmental system and go back to the basics. Humans in today's world are far too reliant on laws and society to tell them how to live. Humans today have forgot how to govern themselves. They don't seem to know how to live life, make choices based on their own sense of right and wrong, or anything really without looking to the law, government or society to make these choices for them. So yeah...I'd just start over.
|What/who changed my life and why
||That is a difficult question. I could answer in many ways. So I think I'll go with something that changed my way of thinking about hard times. Viktor Frankl and his book Man's Search For Meaning. A deeply moving book for me. I was going through a nightmarish time in my life and was feeling desperate, scared, alone, ready to give up. I read this book. Frankl and his family were separated and put into death camps during WWII. He is so honest, bare, and real in his writing of this experience that I couldn't help but feel some of what he must have felt. When I finished thought "What right do I have to want to give up? If this man can go through all he's been through, seen all he has seen, and still stand tall, survive, and move on to help others then surely I can too." And so I did.
