About Me	I have a wonderful husband named Justin. We have been married since May 21st, 2005. We don't have children, but we do have a wonderful Great Pyrenees that we rescued named Patience. I live in a small town in Oklahoma. Oklahoma is not the greenest place to live but many great people are trying to change that and I hope to help. I'm a housewife, freelance environmental writer, activist, and photographer. I love all my jobs. But taking care of my home and family is of course the most important to me. I was raised recycling and living a light green life. However over the past few years I have learned more about the environment which has caused me to rethink my life and has lead me on a journey to be more environmentally friendly.

What Gives Me Hope	Seeing kids doing things to make the world a better place. I fear my generation won't do enough and knowing the next generation is already hard at work gives me hope.
If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by	Make littering a bigger crime, ban plastic bags, and ban Styrofoam. I would also try and get a soup kitchen and homeless shelter started if there wasn't already one. OH and ban puppy mills.
