If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by The problem is actually that... appointing Governors. Humanity has grown enough to live in a more collaborative society rather than a ruled society. Yes, there can and always be people that lead and people that follow. There's a HUGE difference between leaders and rulers though. Modern democracy is showing more and more that power corrupts and our "democratic" Governors, Mayors, etc, act more and more like rulers.
