I live life by the minute. I am painfully aware of each minute I waste or pass up that could have been used to better my life or someone else's. I'm pretty sure it's a curse. I'm a writer and an amateur artist. I'm a Christian and work on poetry and short stories. I'm an activist by nature and need to force myself not to go to extremes in my personal space. I'm a casual activist in social situations but when it comes to my own decisions I can go crazy. I have disposed of more than one television in my time, trying to minimize my family's media time.
I chew Wrigleys Spearmint gum while I'm writing to keep from getting distracted by hunger.

If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by
Legislate that everyone must be an active member of one or more legitimate 'awareness' organizations. Active member= 12 hours/month (writing, petitioning, volunteering on site, blogging...) Enter the lawyers of course to tear this impromptu legislation apart but humor me, this question caught me off guard.
