Short, little piece of peaceloving person. Owned by 3 cats now, and one feral. Happily married to my best friend. I try to do no harm, or as little as possible, love my family/friends, and believe in Freedom for all. Ok, so I'm a bit of a geek! I can live with it.
Do no Harm, Know Thyself, Nothing in excess, be Honorable, industrious, hospitable, faithful, strive to understand the world around me and show mercy at all appropriate opportunities and believe firmly in your self and your abilities. We are here to fulfill a purpose, be we heroes or just the lady next door. Be kind to others - there's enough grief in the planet. And know all you can about the spaceship you occupy!
What Gives Me Hope
My cats, everyday people beating the odds (maybe I can beat my M.S. somehow) a child's smile(our future!) Waking up each day and still being able to get out of bed and walk!!!
If I were Mayor, I'd make the world a better place by
Totally understand the Constitution, be it State or US, and abide by the law as written, as I would expect my constituents to do as well. Then I'd start working on a way to get people out of prison and make detention at least positive and helpful, instead of the "Crime University" it is now.
What/who changed my life and why
getting bitten by a deer tick in mid-NJ back in 8/90, before they knew about Lyme Disease that carries meningitis too. It actually tried to kill me. I had a near death experience and talked with my late grandparents, who insisted I go with them "it's going to be too difficult" my nana kept saying. Had no way then, or for the next ten years of medical guesswork of knowing I had developed MS, as well as several chronic problems. Totally changed my life because it has slowed me down to a crawl, harmed my memory and mood, hurt my family (they all felt like they could have done something more ???)
So, one tick bite changed my world forever, and made me the strong, loving, grateful, hopeful person I am today.
