Thanks to Dr. Dahlia Wasfi (of Jewish/Muslim descent) we know who the terrorists are. Not that we didn't know - but she has the compassion for the sufferings of innocent civilians as well as the courage to speak the uncomfortable truth. If you are willing to leave your own comfort zone ... please watch:

3rd of March 2014
I had two brothers – both a bit older than me – and I’ve lost both of them to cancer; the little one in 2000 to leukemia and the older one mid October 2013 to what started as kidney cancer. Both were putting up a tremendous fight; the younger one for 6 years and the older one for 10 years. Both were throughout their lives my models and I love(d) them unconditionally. The younger one was an ardent Atheist while the older one was an average Roman Catholic (which we all were at some point although we come from a religiously mixed background) and I consider myself a spiritual Agnostic – hoping that the Great Spirit is watching over me!
All three of us siblings learned at an early age to respect other people’s believe as our family is very big and diversified – nation-wise, race-wise and religion-wise.
My little brother said a day before he died: “Soon I will know the ultimate truth – you’ll still have to wait a while”.
When I read these propagandists and hate inciters [against any of the 3 monotheistic religions] these few words of my brother often come to my mind.
Why is it that we can’t respect what other people believe and just argue and discuss the doings of those considerable few who abuse, misuse and hijack any of the 3 religions for their ulterior motives and personal gains – i.e. the political Jewish Zionists, the political Christians (too many parties to list) as well as the political Muslim Brothers?
Why is it that most human beings always have to put others down … hoping that in doing so … they elevate themselves?
Why is it that they don’t understand that in disrespecting themselves they only lower themselves even further?
Lately I get a lot of friendship requests by members I’ve never read nor exchanged any thoughts in the various fora. While I’m thankful that you think I’m worthy of your friendship … forgive me for not accepting it; it’s nothing personal. I’d just like to get to know someone first – through exchange of comments or messages – before I commit to a friendship. Thank you for your understanding!
While there are plenty of bad people who happen to belong to one religion or another, I do not believe there is a person who is bad just because he/she happens to belong to a certain religion, culture or race.
I firmly believe that justice is justice - no matter what you look like, where you live, whom you love, or what you believe in; therefore I’ll help you to fight to get your rights and make your voice heard.
I would have loved to put this under "my video" but it seems I can only upload one - unless I'm doing something wrong (?).
Watch every now and then "A Message to Humanity" to remind us what we're all about - the very best of Charlie Chaplin:
For all those of you who are interested in what's truly happening in Egypt here's a collective video of the 30 JUNE 2013 REVOLUTION and the havoc the Muslim Brotherhood wrecked over the country since:
I just do not know why and where they had to find that pretentious and antagonistic commentator!!!
Thanks a lot for all the good wishes which I receive for our safety. So far it's not too bad - shooting here and there in the neighborhood but I guess that's life for now. Sometimes the bearded guys came and still come a bit close for comfort but nothing to worry. Let's hope order is restored soon and that the Brotherhood (and the US) comes back to their senses and understand that the Egyptian people simply want neither the Brotherhood nor the "help" of America (weapon-wise and money-wise)!
So please USA – stay out of the affairs of Egypt. They mastered over 7’000 years – believe me they will continue ... condition that you take at long last your hands off!!
It’s bad if you’re ignorant,
It’s worse if you don’t make any effort to educate yourself,
But it is certainly a disaster to try, with all your ignorance, to educate others.
(My husband's saying)
My parents taught us: "Happiness is an interesting voyage - not a destiny" and that we're the only ones responsible for our path of live.
Some of my thoughts for whatever they're worth:
We are all responsible for our actions ... even those manipulated by outside forces ... if we have even the slightest capacity to act independently ... we are culpable for whatever choice/action we make.
The greatest act of resistance we can ever undertake isn't done with signs or rocks or slogans ... it is purely internal, an act of conscious choice ... and “The Power That Is” help us if too few have the will to make that choice.
(And some more):
As you sow you shall reap – very old saying but we tend to forget it ...
It’s not that hard to hold out your hand, and it’s not that hard for another person to shake it.
When you pare away the differences of religion, language, and philosophy, we are all alike, all of us on the planet, in how we love, how we dream, how we hate. Understanding both sides means you take on the heaviest burden of all - empathy.
Why is it that peace, love and life are so fragile, while fighting is perennial, hatred is omnipresent and death so permanent?
