My thought for today.

Isn't it odd that we live in a country where people shock their dogs for leaving the yard, but we can't keep good tabs on sex offenders. I think all sex offenders should be outfitted with invisible fence collars. If they go within 100 yards of a school they get zapped. Could solve a problem or two.

Why do Federal employees pay Federal Taxes, and State Employees pay State Taxes? Isn't that like paying yourself?

Why is it that people have to volunteer at homeless shelters to serve food? Aren't there plenty of people at homeless shelters who could man the kitchen? Perhaps shelters should require some work of their patrons, then those of us who wish to donate time and money could then do so more constructively. The homeless could learn a trade and have a place to stay while enduring hard times. Seems to be the difference in giving a man a fish and teaching him to fish.
