        Friend invitations:    I like to get friend invitations, but since it's so easy to get a "friend" on Care2, and impossible to actively maintain hundreds of them, please send me a nice note of introduction first.   After a few exchanges, I'll decide whether to add you as a friend.   If I add you as a friend, it means I would like to learn more about you and have online conversations about shared interests.   If I don't add you, it doesn't mean we can't exchange notes or comments.

     Also, because the internet is an unusual way to communicate, I'd prefer to see a real photo of you first so I know you are real, not a disguised identity.   We all know that happens online.

Testimonials These are great, but please be considerate with graphics.   Some are very big and make my page hard to read.   Also, I prefer not to have cartoon style animations here.   Small thumbnail photos are great.
