Hi folks, I'm back in the land of the freelancers, not by choice, but, oh well. Check out my blog on Blogspot.com, Racking Muck in the Third Millennium. I'm told it's the new way to network. The Suburu died at 307,000. I am now driving Earl. I hate vans and I hate Chrysler products so when I found a Dodge van for $250, plus $700 to get it on the road, I took it and named it after that TV show about the guy with bad karma. As for the kids: Emily has a job she likes. Her boss sent her to a couple of conferences. She's trying to learn all she can about bonds, etc., because it could be more than three years before she can get her CPA. Sometimes she wants to work for the World Health Org, then she wants to be a financial planner, then she wasn't to be a forensic accountant. I tell her that's ok, she doesn't need to make up her mind. Clay is a junior at Centenary College. He's majoring in communications/journalism and getting more interested in photo-j. He is tutoring in the writing center and is an RAr. He hopes to manage the writing center when he graduates so he can get his Master's in English Lit. If not, he may look for a gig as an RD somewhere to get grad school paid for that way. Korinne is majoring in math at Montclair State. She's interested in something called environmental analysis, although she still thinks public health might be good. And sometimes she thinsk she wants to run off and join a tap group. She did a master class with Savion Glover last spring and loved it. She's now a $2.50 train ride from Newark where he gives the classes, so she's looking forward to doing some more. Nero is as crazy as ever. At 10-years-old you'd think he wouldn't still act like a puppy. Ivy is still hanging on. We think she's about 14. And the cats keep bringing me presents -- fortunately, generally the entire mouse, not just parts. Occasionally there is a major altercation, but not too often. Yeah, about that rabbit. A friend got foreclosed out of her house and ended up living with her brother-in-law so their animals got divided up among friends. I got Lola, a brown Dutch rabbit. She's adorable and loves to be held. The cats and dogs know if someone lives in the house they are not prey, they are family, so it's ok.

About
Description
Jersey Girl, environmentalist, sucker for strays, mostly animals, but occasionally kids and even grown-ups; avid reader of mysteries, political satires, intellegent religious works; one of those crazy Episcopalians, mother of 3 pretty-much grown kids, rock-n-roll heart, but love clasical music, too. Neo-cons make me break out and I firmly believe the Religious Right is neither.
