while i was living in cedar key, i had taken my one cat with me, and i wanted another, from cedar key. a kitten came to my door one day, so i brought him in & named him willie. my dogs were very young then, and one day i came home from work and found willie dead. it took a while to forgive them. but a stroll along the suwanne river alone, brought me peace. a mother cat had shown up in town with her four babies. good homes were found for the kittens, but no one wanted the mother. i fell in love with her and brought her home with me. i named her suwannee because cedar key is in waht is known as the suwannee valley. she is a princess. no one would ever think of her as a homeless unwed mother.
