Katrina dogs that(some) still are in need of wonderful forever homes. At this very moment, most have been either adopted/fostered out; or headed home to NO. But we still have some in need. They have been Micro-chipped and spay/neutered. I have met each one(since I took the pics..LOL),and they are VERY sweet. Once we get all our kids homes-we'll be visiting each home(or contacting the owners in NO for updated pics-which some are already sending!)to make a "happy ending" type of photo album..
This Red Nosed Pit is a bundle of joyful energy! I transported him from one clinic to another today, and his playful antics in my backseat kept me laughing. He is a cuddler,a kisser and a "tumbler"-he LOVES to play!

You are a very special person and I'm glad you
are on this earth to help these animal. I wish
there were more people that are dedicated to helping
these animals find loving homes. Keep up the good
work. God Bless you!
Kathy, that is awesome that you are helping these animals. I, too, took in a Hurricane Katrina dog (named him Blue)and had him 3 wks. He was getting so healthy and was happy and then my neighbor hit him with his car and just left him. He died 2 days later and I am heartbroken. God bless you for your efforts. Vicky
