Spencer is a special little pal of mine, a Havanese puppy with unusually long legs that took him on a meandering journey, straight into the heart of a very special lady, Diana Brooks of HRI Atlanta, Georgia. As a volunteer worker for HRI, an organization that rescues Havanese dogs, Diana travelled many miles to rescue this little fellow from harm's way. After giving Spencer much needed care to prepare him for adoption, Diana found it impossible to part with this little long legged tyke and so Spencer became a member of the Brooks family along with the two other Havanese, Hunter and Clyde, that Diana lovingly calls her Boyz.
