On August 25, 2006, in Hartford, CT, my partner and i attended an event that we assuredly will never forget. With TEN Musical Acts (plus, emcee Wavy Gravy), Hippiefest was hours of great, pshchedellic, Hippie Fun! Enjoy the pictures and attend next year.
The spirits of Hippies long gone followed us from Elmira, NY to Hartford, CT. And, although it rained for our entire trip, when we neared Hartford, the rain stopped (until we were ready to return to Elmira).

These two hippie chicks painted the van earlier that day, just before coming to Hippiefest.

Denny Laine (Moody Blues & Wings)
Member of the original line-up of the Moody Blues and a member of Paul McCartney's Wings sang "Go Now"{ and "Band On The Run" plus another tune with somewhat hoarse but very steady vocals.

Joey Molland (Badfinger)
Joey Molland, of Badfinger, sang a few of their hits: "Come and Get It," "Baby Blue," and "No Matter What." Giving credit to the deceased Pete Ham for the band's hits, his performance was quite enjoyable, indeed.
