On August 25, 2006, in Hartford, CT, my partner and i attended an event that we assuredly will never forget. With TEN Musical Acts (plus, emcee Wavy Gravy), Hippiefest was hours of great, pshchedellic, Hippie Fun! Enjoy the pictures and attend next year.

Canned Heat

Another Woodstock performing band, Canned Heat, did thier thing at Hippiefest. They were even better than back in the sixties, in my opinion.

The Rascals

"Groovin'" along with the Rascals was an awesome experience. My hippie chick partner was asked by another chick to dance and play in a mud puddle. "It will be fun," she asserted. And, it was.

Leslie West and band was the last act on the bill. The drummer continually was shooting his drum sticks into the audience by bouncing them off of the drim heads.
