i met Sweetie on the streets playing with her girlfriends. she invited me back to her house to meet her family. her hindu family offered me tea and sweet sweet homemade treats. i was there talking for a couple of hours, saw the children's class work, art projects, collectables, make up and learned so much about arranged marriages and sari wearing. they offered to have me come back and they'd teach me to make chapatti's and their homemade sweets. i absolutely adored them and fell in love. they were so welcoming and happy to have me as i was to be there. eventually i met the cousins, aunts, father , mother and older sister too, it was a wonderful day. we took many pictures out in the sun on there terrace amongst their potted flowers, a real treat for me to experience and share and learn with this wonderful fun sweet family.
