So peaceful, so hot, and so much Love, here they are sleeping.. When they woke to it was time to jump in the Pond, which was just a hop skip jump away. “Behold the duck, It does not cluck. To watch Ducks sleeping is a very peaceful thing, and you just know they feel safe where they are “here”, because no one wants to shoot them, and no one wants to eat them or stuff them like all the terrible (or just starving) people out there who do these things.. These babies can just sleep and sleep while Ed and I are walking around taking pictures, because if they were to try to sleep outside; where they live (next door), they would be constantly awaken by dogs barking, people banging and shouting, and just not enough food & water to keep them happy… Here they were so happy that these two even gave birth to their kids under our stairs; where I made it all nice and comfy (with hay) for them. They knew we would not want to take their children away from them to fry in a pan with bacon the next morning.. Salted duck egg is a Chinese preserved food product made by soaking duck eggs in brine, or packing each egg in damp salted charcoal (that‘s sick and disgusting). Many other people who are allergic to chicken eggs can often use duck eggs instead for their morning breakfast. I say if you have an deadly allergic reaction to duck eggs, EAT LOTS OF THEM!!! Anyone who eats duck or chicken eggs does not get any sympathy from me if something goes wrong, not even my own honey.. It‘s groce and makes me sick, I can‘t even tolerate the smell of it cooked.. These ducks were so happy here, did I tell you that part yet? Muawwwww… xoxoxo
