I love when the pictures come out clear like this one.. This is a nice shot of our Pond from a Ducks Eye point of view, and it doesn’t take them long to come over to me to see if I have something for them.. Mrs. Quack Quack needed as much nutrition as possible since she was going to have some babies later on… Her Partner followed her everywhere and defended her space at this time, and you know how much I love a good partner that defends his life mate’s space.. It’s just not fair that there are people eating these animals, but what’s worse is the needless and inhumane killing of them for the food these barbarians eat, IN THIS DAY AND AGE WE SHOULD NOT BE EATING ANY ANIMALS, and whom ever does not heed my advice will surely suffer all the consequences of their actions, but so do I. I cry for many animals many a days, and sometimes I get so mad I can’t look at another petition or even watch another news program… I’m just so sickened and disgusted by all the animal abusers & ignorant eaters out there and pray that they all get what’s coming to them…. On March 7 2009 was the beginning of innocent duck shooting season in Tasmania.. For three months of every year licensed shooters are permitted to make their way onto beautiful State public wetlands in Tasmania (and private wetlands) and shoot native ducks. Shoot dead or not … collect, cook and eat.. or not. It's all sport. Allegedly. http://www.aact.org.au/ducks.htm .. Hunting is not a "sport' it is LEGALIZING MURDER!! in the true sense of the word. A sport is when your opponent has the same options to beat you at a game or contest as you do to beat them. As we “The Good People & Parents” teach as many kids as we can, when ever we can “THAT THIS IS WRONG”, and the Governments know the reasons why, but we wait for them to do something about it. They don‘t so we must do something for them... JUST PUT YOUR FOOT DOWN AND LET OTHERS KNOW YOU HAVE 0 TOLLERANCE FOR ALL CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY AND ANIMAL AND STOP LETTING THEM LEGALIZE MURDER. Current target species are black ducks, chestnut teal, grey teal, mountain ducks and wood ducks, and bag limits are specified. BUT other species, some protected, share these habitats and are at risk of accidental or deliberate shooting. Amongst these: blue winged shoveler, white-eyed duck, musk duck, freckled duck, pink eared duck, blue billed duck and plumed tree duck. It’s sick and disgusting and must be stopped so please visit the site linked above and take action today… On a happy note, aren’t these Ducks sweet in this picture.. I miss them so much….
