One hot summer day (in 1998) when I was laying in the Sun out in the back yard, Kaos came a creeping over through the hot sun and grass just to see me.. She walked all the way from the house over to the end of the cut grass in the back yard. That’s how much she loved me.. Of course once she arrived there was no more sun tanning for me; instead of basking in & worshiping of the sun, I had to bask in her Love and worship only her, while she got me all to herself.. Ahh those were the days.. She was so happy to be free all the time, but now a-days I wouldn’t let her so free to roam the land. And I’d probably bring her up to live with us upstairs with Star.. She would not have been happy now if I took away the only freedom she’s known since birth, and she never wanted to stay upstairs; as many times I would see she’d be waiting at the door to go downstairs (to her basement palace). I just wish I didn’t have to think about her last few hours all the time, I’m one of those who regret that they didn’t do more for their pet kitty at the end when she needed it the most. Even just to spend the time with her and help her get up and down… I was always going down to see her; surprising her many a mornings with me in front of her face and lovingly waking her up. She was always so pleasantly surprised and I loved her so much. But on that last day of hers (in the late evening with guests over), she was dieing downstairs and I should have been with her. I’ll have to live with that for the rest of my life, but I always try to only think of the happy moments we had.. She wouldn’t want me crying over her after 4 years now would she.. Oh how I miss her so much..
