Here they are sharing Natures Platter of crunchy and tasty good stuff.. Each finding their own special treats and independently reaching for high branches with marvels of yum yums.. Prezi’s on the left with Babbs standing right up to reach some perfect black walnut tree leaves, just a few not to many because she might get a stomach ache.. But what walnuts they are.. Every September those black walnuts fall hard to the ground and make a big thump, and every time one would fall it scared the living beejeebees out of me.. Thank our Guardian Angels no one was under them when they fell to the ground, or someone would have ended up with a huge headache after.. We can’t eat them, and either can the Goats, but the Squirrels and Chipmunks love them so I gather many of them together after they fall just for everyone to be happy.. The walnuts come with another shell on them that’s like the skin of a lime and it’s yellowish green, I would put them in piles around the back, in trees, on stumps and where ever I think those little critters of ours would like to sit and eat while enjoying the peaceful scenery. Have you ever smelt a live black walnut after it fell from it’s tree? They are so delightful to smell, as they make you think of a non-ripe lime or lemon, I had so much fun smelling them everywhere and wiping them on my clothes and hands.. In this picture, Ed and I are just sitting on the grass away from the trees and taking pictures and having a great time with our babies, because as long as we didn’t move from the spot we were in, Prezi and Babbs were happy.. And if they were happy, Ed and I were happy… Look at my beautiful babies they are so beautiful…
