This is my guinea pig who was "donated" to my classroom one day. I'd never had a guinea pig before so my students and I did quite a bit of research about them so we were able to find out the best ways to keep her healthy and happy. She's so sweet! She loves being scratched under her chin and behind her ears. She even lets me give her a piggy manicure/pedicure with no fuss. Romaine lettuce is her favorite snack and I've never seen an animal eat so much timothy hay...she's an enthusiastic hay and veggie eater. She gets along well with the other pets but is timid. If you've never seen a guinea pig "popcorn" around their room or cage, you're missing out. It cracks me up everytime.
