This is taken just east of Hood River, OR. First time I’ve been out there, and the flowers seem a bit stunted in size. Nice that both the lupine and balsamroot are in bloom at the same time, as it is not always the case. This particular morning was one of those ‘almost’ sunrises, where the sky tried to change, but just a bit too much cloudcover.
