My Twin also developed a workplace disability in her hands - more evidence that we are Identical Twins. I could identify her in the last photo I saw of her, solely by her hands...in this same sore position. We also sneezed on teh same note, and had identical patch tests.(I am annoyed by doubters who don't even read twin studies)
A plant called the Swordleaf Plantain began my path to healing; along with an intense light treatments, called the Grenz Ray. Aloe, and heavy creams (many times daily) allow me to use my hands in the garden. Irritant Type Dermatitis is described by Doctors as Permanently Disabiling in my case (I don't get SSI however - as this is called a Partial Disability) I manage the condition well, but can rarely finish projects in one session before discomfort makes me quit. Actually, I am fortunate to have hands, and still am able to use my hands, even with the challenges. (Many others face worse conditions, that's for sure.)
