Walking home with shopping bags one evening, I started up the rear stairs to my house. I heard a tiny little "MEEOW" behind me and there she was. Her body seemed as tiny as her voice! She was a kitty then, and she just trotted up the stairs behind me as if she had been there a million times before. I walked into the house, she followed. I put the bags down, and placed my hands on my hips, amazed! She was so small, yet so brave!, Rubbing up against my ankles and "Meow" again. I picked her up and she jumped on my shoulders and lied down across my shoulders and the back of my neck like a scarf! It was the funniest, wierdest thing I had ever experienced with a cat. As you can imagine, I felt I had no say in whether she stayed or went. WIth her actions, she seemed to be saying; "I'm staying and THAT IS THAT!" Who could argue with that face??? She is dainty, and so elegant in her demeanor, but she can run with the best of em'. She chases Ace all around the house when she wants our attention, and it is one of the funniest sites you could ever see. A four pound cat chasing an eighty five pound dog, and for her grand finale she jumps onto our shoulders and purrs in our ears. WIllemina has been with us for over three years now. I found out later that Willemina had been placed on my property by a friend hoping I would stumble upon her and keep her. It was a very sneaky thing to do, But I am eternally grateful for her and to him for bringing us together.
