Album: Snowy Mountain Wildflowers (Dec 2003)

This December 2003 trip was both sad and magnificent. The area was devastated by bushfire during January 2003 and the wonderful snowgums have been burnt to a crisp. A very harsh reality of this sunburnt country.

A walk through one of the local reserves in Perth, Western Australia revealed early wildflowers blooming. A pity there is so many invasive weeds throughout the reserve. Photos taken using a RICOH Caplio G4 digital camera
