Maria Angela Grow, then Chaya Temima Patanelli, on a donkey in Nazareth. I was 24 then. I had been to Israeli folk dancing at The Jewish Community Center in Philadelphia. They gave raffle tickets to anyone paying toward folk dance upkeep. I do not believe in gambling, so I had only the one raffle ticket, but I won. The donkey was much nicer than the camel. At the time we were living in Pemberton, NJ. While we were gone, someone drove into our apartment, which was on a corner, and we had a hole in out living room when we returned!
