Update: Piper became ill in August and was taken to a specialist in RI, we had ultrasounds, treatments and tests run and after results came in and his continued decline in health it was determined he had FIP. With much sadness and tears Liz and I said goodbye to our handsome kitten on August 12, 2008. Our friend Brian made him a small wooden coffin and cross and we buried him under the cedar tree in the meadow in our way back yard. We are now in the process of creating a memorial garden around his grave site. We miss him soooo much as does his feline companions especially Tuffy, TC, Ferris, Ella and Yum-Yum.
PIPER IS THE FERAL KITTEN WE RESCUED AT THE SCHOOL I TEACH AT, HE IS DOING GREAT AND BECOMING QUITE THE HANDSOME, DOMESTIC, INDOOR KITTY WITH HIS NEW FRIENDS AT OUR HOME, WE ARE SO HAPPY HE IS SAFE AND PART OF OUR FAMILY.
