May 17, 2005, Canada Goose mother and babies. This was one of our first views of the new goslings. We knew we'd have little fuzzballs soon but didn't know they had hatched until the parents waddled out of the woods with them as we were at our dining room window having breakfast. As usual, the father goose stood guard very close by.
