My sister Mary (and ALL my sisters...including myself) are amazing chefs. You can never go wrong eating a Gauba meal. All of us kids had to learn to cook when our father died in January of 1970 (he was just 39 years old) and our mom had to take over the family business. So she plopped the "Joy of Cooking" cook book in front of my older brother and my sisters and me and said: "I have to work, this is a cook book, you know how to read, follow the instructions and you cannot go wrong. I'll be back for dinner tonight." and that's how we all learned to cook. As Americans, we are truly blessed to have such bounty.
