I tried to stitch a St Petersburg chain and this comes out when you use uneven semiprecious adventurine beads as middle beads. It reminded me of a bushy foxtail so that's how it got it's name. As I'm not a fringe and tassle type I closed the chain with a brown czech glass bead.
