Elevation: between 1000 and 5000 feet [Calflora 2004 (ft.)]. Coreopsis bigelovii, a dicot in the family Asteraceae, is an annual herb that is native to California [Hrusa] and is endemic (limited) to California alone [Lum/Walker].
