Clouds drifting in at Chewaukum Lake. When you're up over 5,000 feet, weather is something that happens at eye level. I arrived in the afternoon when it was sunny and hot for swimming. By the time I finished supper, the wind was picking up and it had started to rain. After checking the trees around me one more time (no leaners), I hopped in my tent and fell asleep to the music of the storm.
