carriage horse snow winter

I love working horses; to see a horse-drawn carriage always warms my heart. This picture was taken during the winter in Leavenworth, a Bavarian town in the Cascade Mountain Range. Despite the weather and the noise, the creature remains calm. I wish more people would reflect on this horse and its kin so that they may remember to slow down and breathe.
