We had gone to a shelter and my husband chose a cat. I had bad vibes about his choice.

She was vicious and attacked Zima my other cat. I tried working with her but one day she injured Zima so she had to go back.

The shelter chose me for Kelly. She was not on show for adoption - when they brought her to me she was so frightened.

I fell in love with her right away and agreed to continue with the medication she was on at home so I was able to take her home that day.

Sadly she did not improve so we took her to the vets only to find out she has kidney trouble like Zima so they are both on special diets.

I'm very happy to say they are both doing well.

Kelly had been found abandoned with the following:

Fur missing from the top of her head / ringworm / her front paws had been de-clawed and she was trying to care for her litter.

From what I understand the litter was lost but she did feed other kittens at the shelter.
