Not a cloud in the sky, the views were almost beyond description. This is the trail up to the Sun Gate, the old summer solstice perfect alignment thing, there are over 16,000 kilometers of Inka trails. The point is, that is Machu Picchu (means old mountain) behind/below me (at 8,500 feet), on the Inka trail, that I managed to get this far even amazed me, see that space between my pants and socks, completely covered with mosquito bites when we got back to Cusco, another one of those transcendent events when a beer upon decent was the finest beverage ever brewed.
