Dear Care2Care Member,

Health Freedom is our First Freedom - the right to determine what happens to our own bodies and those of our children - is an essential component of true freedom.

That freedom has been eroded by compulsory drugging laws for children, compulsory treatment statutes in times of emergency, whether real or not, forbidden treatments and even cures for deadly diseases which would cut into the profits of Big Pharma even if they could save lives.

I know that these are real problems because I have been practicing drug-free medicine for nearly 40 years (yes, I am an MD) and have witnessed the assault on freedom and on health for the good of Big Pharma's bottom line despite the fact that people might want something very different for themselves.

This election cycle has given us a powerful new tool to change these forced health choices back to real freedom.

Change.org offered people the opportunity to vote for the ideas that they thought were the most important and the top ten ideas will be presented to the new President on Inauguration Day.  Health Freedom, I am proud to tell you, was among those ideas which have reached the run off vote.

I urge you to join me and a huge number of other people to make Health Freedom, which is, after all, our First Freedom, idea number one.  Please go to http://www.change.org/ideas/view/health_freedom from January 5 - 15, 2009 and vote for Health Freedom.  And please, please, ask all of your friends to do the same.  This is urgently important: this IS a popularity contest and health freedom needs to be the most popular idea in America.

For more information, and to find other like-minded people focused on this idea, I invite you to visit Natural Solutions Foundation's home page, http://www.HealthFreedomUSA.org and sign up for the safe, free and secure Health Freedom Action eAlerts.

Please, please, spread the word. This opportunity may never come again.

Yours in health and freedom,
Dr. Rima

I agree completely. Members of my family are sicker today than before they started "treatments" by the US Medical Profession. I want the freedom to seek alternative health information and buy natural products from the open market, NOT by perscription!

I, too, believe health freedom is one of our most fundamental rights. Keep up the good work, Rima!

Health Freedom is, indeed, our first freedom. If it matters to you what happens to your body and who makes those decisions if it is not you, YOU should be sure to take the actions above AND forward this post to as many people as possible so that everyone can go to www.change.org/ideas/view/health_freedom and make sure that the new administration, from its first day in office, is clearly informed that Health Freedom IS our priority.

I have made signifigant strides for the past five years, after bitter dissappointments, experiencing no relief, no healing, only terrible pharmacutical side effects over and over again, trying one Medical protical after another, year after year, physician after physician, medical clinic after medical clinic. I THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO DIE I was so severly ill, until I began using a Holistic Protical.

I want desperately to keep my freeom of choice to study, purchase on the open market, and implement my protical of choice, and not to EVER be in the catistropic position of having to pay perscription prices to get the wonerful holistic proucts that are restoring my quality of life.
I have wittnessed the desintigration of my own health and that of friends, and loved ones from far greater side effects of ingesting pharmaceutical drugs, than ANY INCEDENTS RESULTING FROM THE USE OF HOLISTIC PROTICALS AND PRODUCTS EVER, I REALIZE, FROM RESEARCHING MORE DEEPLY, THAT THERE IS PRESSURE TO TAKE AWAY OUR FREEDOMS DUE TO BIG POWERFUL PHARMA.
WE WANT TO LIVE!

Health freedom is an issue whose time is long overdue. Without it, all other freedoms cannot be enjoyed.

I totally agree. Nothing is as important to us as individuals as our health and the ability to make our own personal choices about how we maintain health and wellness. We need to protect our health freedom and prevent our lives from being controlled by pharmaceuticals and the FDA, agribusiness and the insurance industry. We need to ensure that codex allimentarius does not get implemented here either.

Yes I have had major complications from "medicine". Each of us is different and we must be able to control what medicine we use.

As co-founder of Asheville Radical Mental Health Collective, co-founder of the ALT-therapies4bipolar Yahoogroup and author of the associated website, and co-founder and President of Asheville Homeless Network, I'm right here with you. I wish I could support you financially as well as morally, and things are getting better, but I'm not yet sure that light isn't the train coming... LOL.

The freedom to be able to choose how one takes care of their health is paramount. We can not let the AMA and other vested interests determine our choices and limit our ability to use supplements and other therapies that are efficacious.

Rima - I am so glad that you have stopped your life to help save the lives of many... Thanks!

We need to see that the government is kept from testing natural products and reporting that they are ineffective. It is obvious that they are paying researchers around the country to obtain the results they request. I have just spent a little time looking up as to whether or not clinical testing has been done on our vitamins, omega oils, etc. at this site http://www.clinicaltrials.gov/

It appears that many tests have been completed on 11-20-2008. It appears there is a BIG hurry to have completed testing on all of our natural products!!!!!

One note of interest - they are using small amounts that we would never consider taking for their "testing" purposes.

We also want to make it illegal for Big Pharma to advertise on TV, etc. We are the only advanced nation that allows this non-sense. Additionally, we should enforce testing of ALL products before they hit the consumer and end "fast tracking." The FDA obviously does a very poor job and are only interested in the money they get from giving the green light on products. We need to hold the FDA accountable and be able to sue them for passing bad products into our population. A few big hits and the FDA would be forced into doing what they should have been doing all along... their job of protecting us from dangerous products.

The right to choose my own health approaches is fundamental. The US Government has been taking away our rights to information about choices in food and health. These rights need to be restored and government needs new policies to protect citizens. Health freedom is important to us.

Our country is owned by the big pharmaceutical companies and big agriculture, neither of which have a financial interest in keeping us healthy. This needs to change, health and wellness should not be about money!

Americans have been lulled into somnambulance by the media with drug ads & phoney reporting of adverse reactions to natural substances. Now they are being prepped in fear of a new plague. Protecting our health rights is job one.

General Stubbledine couldn't have said it better, that the first freedom is the freedom to put whatever nutrition or supplements we want into our mouth! It is nobody's business but ours! This is an essential freedom of all freedoms. What we grow, what heirloom seeds we purchase, what basic, essential nutritional and healing information we tell others about our fruits, vegetables, or nutritional supplements is a FREEDOM OF SPEECH, a FREEDOM OF INFORMATION, A FREEDOM OF DISSIMENATION OF NUTRIENTS INTO OUR BODIES.

Health Freedom is a non-negotiable necessity that cannot be tainted by compromise. Considering the toxic mess that is upon us, we must also insist that natural solutions (holistic nutrition, massage therapy, herbalism, etc.) be prominently included in legislative action on healthcare.

I agree that we cannot lose our freedom of health choices. I have a special needs child that is medication free thanks to organically healthy and natural diet and for supplementation. She would be in the hospital if she had to go back on meds. Thank you for all you do to protect our freedoms and to keep us up on all that is going on in the world of health freedom.

Toxic "mainstream" medicines have caused more deaths than all diseases combined. We have a right to our health and a right to our health freedom - a perfect right to treat ourselves with alternative care, and natural medicines.

I have also experienced having more sickness& a lot more allergies in my family mainly due to the processed foods & GMOs that were sneaked into our foods without our knowledge or regard to what we the consumers want. I have been using natural remedies for over 35 years, quite successfully. I believe that Health Freedom for me to continue doing so is my right, & is indeed our first freedom. I am alive today & so is my 32 year old daughter because of alternative, natural therapies that brought me back to health, when conventional medicine could not do so. I want the freedom to continue to buy these natural products without prescriptions, & to be treated by alternative practitioners of my choice without any interference from big government, big pharma, or big agribusiness that clearly doesn't care about our health , only their own greedy agenda. Please protect our Freedom of choice. Health Freedom for all is our first Freedom.

I believe the following links should adequately explain why health freedom is our first freedom.
"If people let government decide what foods they eat and what medicines they take, their bodies will soon be in as sorry a state as are the souls of those who live under tyranny." – Thomas Jefferson - Digg it here -- http://www.wesupchurch.com/news/60-press-releases.html

The hollow words of Bertrand Russell, who advocated the use of vaccines to induce partial chemical lobotomies and create a servile zombie population, are then considered alongside the soaring rates of autism in the U.S. and the increasing amount of vaccines being mandated for babies and young children.

DR. RIMA, YOUR EFFORT IN THIS MOVEMENT IS AN INSPIRATION TO US ALL. The more I learn about what is in our food supply, the more critical this awareness becomes. I urge all people, everywhere to stand up and take significant action against systemic annihilation.
