An unusual window has opened in North Carolina, a massive raid on a puppy mill made a major news item resulting in more then 2,000 people showing up to demand changes in the law. While we may not completely be able to stop the people who profit at the expence of these dogs I feel we can at least push for the establishment of an Animal Regulatory Commission While it sickens me to face the fact that monetary concerns outweigh the lives of these dogs I am also a realist. By forcing everyone raising domestic animals for profit to be licensed, & regulated we will be able to more closely monitor these disgusting businesses,& violating licensing regulations is a more enforceable offense,unfortunately If you or anyone you know is in North Carolina,or any other state & as a registered voter would like to help push this issue please contact me.
