Global warming is real and its impacts will only get worse unless we embrace clean energy. Renewable power from the sun, the wind and modern biomass provides less than 1% of the energy needs of the Philippines
today.

To help stop global warming, we need to switch to renewable energy and to increase energy efficiency.

WE NEED TO TELL THE PHILIPPINE GOVERNMENT OF THE URGENCY TO HAVE 10% OF OUR COUNTRY'S ENERGY TO BE COMING FROM RENEWABLE SOURCES BY 2010. LET'S GO 10% BY 2010!

Coal-fired power plants funded by the Asian Development Bank continue to poison local communities and dump huge amounts of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere. And even though the ADB recognizes that climate change is a threat, the bank still finances the dumping of dirty energy on developing countries.

Clean alternatives to fossil fuel power in Asia are widely available. Please help us send a clear message to the ADB to stop bankrolling climate change and support clean energy now!
