Support Stream Team

Help Stream Team plant trees in New Mexico and Arizona. Visit the site and find out how you can help with these planting efforts...
Here is another way you can help:

Redwood Creek Wines runs a competition each year where thay give away $50,000 as part of their Great Outdoors Project. Stream Team is a finalist in this competition! The final winner is determined by a voting process. You can cast your vote here:

Yes, you do have to register, but don't worry, you will not receive a bunch of advertising - it is just a way to varify votes Once you have registered you may make cast a vote once a day (every day )- from now until April 31. The project with the most votes at that time wins the $50,000!

Here is a discription of the Stream Team Project which is seaking funding:

Redwood Creek Wines
Greater Outdoors Project Finalist:
WildEarth Guardians

For ten years, WildEarth Guardians has hosted Stream Team, a project that restores stretches of the polluted Santa Fe River by planting tens of thousands of native trees with community volunteers who gather pledges for each tree they plant.

In 2009, the Stream Team project seeks to coincide with Santa Fe’s 400th anniversary and efforts to restore the Camino Real—the pioneer road from Mexico City to Santa Fe, which runs alongside it.

In addition to restoring a historic 3-mile stretch of river, WildEarth Guardians will work with the local government to build a trail for pedestrian and equestrian traffic that will reconnect the community with its namesake river. The trail will include educational kiosks to inform and inspire visitors about how successful community-based restoration is at protecting habitat, improving water quality, and providing resiliency to climate change.
