...upload, post, email, transmit or otherwise make available any Content that infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright or other proprietary rights ("Rights") of any party
If you use a picture or graphic that you have not first saved to you own computer you are doing exactly that. This includes sites which tell you it is permissable.
The ONLY legal way to post a picture or graphic is to
1. Right click on the image and click save image as
2. A window should pop up where you can save it to a folder on your computer.
3. Go my photos at Care 2 or use a photobucket account.
4. At C2 create an album if you don't already have one.
5. Once it is created you can click on it to open it
6. Click on Add items
7. Click on browse and go back to your picture folder
8. Click on the picture you want to use and then click on open
9. Click on add item below the browse box and it will be saved to your album.
10. Open the album and click on the thumbnail and you will get a full sized version
11. For IE users right click on the image and then on copy
12. For FF users highlight the image then right click then click copy
13. Then go to where you want the image to appear, right click and click on paste
I realize this procedure is a pain in the behind but it is the only leagal way to do it. So why worry if the site I am snagging the image from says it is ok. Well when you fo that you keep the link open which is advertising for them but also these sites are breeding grounds for trojans and viruses so you are exposing everyone to those as well.
