"Take Action: NAACP Prayer Rally For Troy Davis Justice In Savannah, GA. This Weekend"
Re: Troy Anthony Davis Legal Battle.
Location: Georgia, USA.
Topic: Investigate the Injustice of Improper Legal Proceedings, and Join an NAACP Prayer Rally in Savannah or Just Show Support in Any Way Possible!
NAACP Invitational Letter : >>>>
Dear Supporter,
I'm sure you've heard about Troy Anthony Davis.
He's the Savannah man facing execution by the state of Georgia despite the fact that there was no physical evidence linking him to the crime and seven out of the nine witnesses have recanted or contradicted their testimony.
I will be in Savannah this weekend and need you to join me in fighting to save Troy's life.
On Saturday, the NAACP will kick off our Week of Witnessing, Prayer and Action with a rally at 10am at the Historic 38th Street Park. Please, spread the word to your friends, family and colleagues.
Troy's sister, Martina Correia will be joining me as will Edward DuBose, President of the NAACP Georgia State Conference.
Immediately following the rally, we will take to the streets to educate the public about the injustice of Troy's case and it is critical that supporters like you join us.
Finally, I would like to invite you to a community-wide meeting on Sunday, June 21st at 6pm.
This meeting will be held at the Historic Bolton Street Baptist Church and Reverend Matthew Southall Brown, Sr, Pastor of the St. John Baptist Church will be presiding.
Please join us as we come together to advocate and pray for justice.
This weekend, the eyes of the world will be on this important case and the people of Georgia. As resident of Chatham County (the county that prosecuted Troy), your support is crucial. Let us join together to show that justice will prevail for Troy.
