When it comes to being in a desolate/desperate situation emotions run very sensitive and it can be heartbreaking for the one suffering and or in need.

1. What do you do when you encounter people in desolate/desperate types of situations?
Give them contact information to some charity or benefit program
Ignore them and or the situation. It's not your problem.
Say, I don't know them that well it could be a scam.
Get up, and help them through their difficulty
