Lot of times, we all do things without knowing when they come from. It is almost like we would become blind and follow a desire that doesn't have any explanation, that we simply don't know why.
I had dinner with some friends and I had a good time. But when the actual "eating" time arrived, I felt much like an animal at the zoo, with all the crowd watching me closely with the famous astonishing face, wondering how in the world could I be eating just salad mix without anything else, not even a dressing on the side.
So the questions began and I felt embarrased. They asked me why I had chosen to eat that way, if I was trying to lose weight (famous question), and so on. But none understood that I had just changed my old habits for new ones, which serves me better now.
How many times we don't change old habits because we don't know why? How many times we choose to fall into the same old habits, even when they are bad and dangerous for our sake?
Isn't time to stop and think about this? Do we eat junk food because we have it as an old habit? Or is it just an addiction? Could it be a combination of both? And if so, why are we taking so long to change our old habits?
I will give it a try and change mine...
