A week before my 7 day, 545 mile bike trek with the AIDSLifecycle Event, I began "carbo loading" & walking (instead of cycling) thorough San Francisco's Mission District. And with each journey through the Latin quarter, I noticed something new & refreshing.

First came L's Cafe, then came Mission Skateboards, then came Pushbike SF .. ... ...

AND NOW:

Mission Bicycle766 Valencia Street,
San Francisco, CA,

415-683-6166

Upon entering Mission Bicycles' custom bike boutique, I became very intrigued with the idea of designing a custom "fixed gear," "free wheel & fixed gear," or "internal hub" bike (starting at approx. $750.00).

Myself, riding a custom, Soulcraft Road Bike (starting at $500.00 for just your frame "deposit"), I can appreciate the ability to get a stunningly distinct"custom" bike built for the urban /city rider at an affordable price.

"We started Mission Bicycle because we weren't satisfied with the bicycles sold in bike stores. The best bicycles on the streets of San Francisco are the custom built fixed gear bikes those with the know-how are building up for themselves and friends. It didn't make sense to us that these bikes were not available to everyone else so we set out to change that." - Mission Bicycles

1. Pick your Framset

Mission Bicycle Company's "Valencia Frames" are custom made for urban riding. Double butted Chromoly tubing, track geometry, horizontal drop outs, and an integrated seat collar. Drop outs support a rear rack mount but comes clear of bottle and brake cable mounts. Comes in 50cm, 53cm, 56cm, 59cm, and 62cm.

2. Pick your "Valencia Frame" Color -

Choose your own color. Want more choices? Mission Bicycle Company can do any of these colors, just put the RAL number in your 'order comments' on the last page of the check out.

3. Gears

By default, your Mission Bicycle only comes with a front brake and fixed gear. If you upgrade to Freewheel + Fixed Gear, you'll get a front brake and both gear combination's.
