My writing focuses on four advocacy efforts:  (1) decriminalizing mental illness; (2) repealing the death penalty; (3) ending prison profiteering and improving prison conditions; and (4) the quest for justice regarding Larry Neal’s secret arrest and death in Memphis Shelby County Jail in 2003 and the ongoing cover-up conspiracy.  Since numerous other organizations and groups also advocate for most of these, what is the point in censoring Mary Neal?  I believe you give me too much credit.

1)  Mentally ill offenders should be either hospitalized or treated in their communities, depending on their offenses.  Acute mental patients deserve humane treatment, and prisons should discontinue being used as de facto mental hospitals.  To prosecute people who had little or no understanding of their Miranda rights and were unable to contribute to their own defense is wrong.  Efforts to stifle advocacy meant to help sick people and their families make you loathsome.

2)  Capital punishment will eventually be repealed in all 50 states.  Even death penalty supporters have learned through watching the Troy Davis matter unfold that people can be innocent but executed due to failings in our legal system.  The 350 people who have been exonerated in recent decades, including 240 through DNA testing, prove that innocent people can and have been wrongly convicted.  Furthermore, people were made aware by the Supreme Court’s July 18 ruling that the justice system does not care enough if innocent people are wrongly imprisoned or executed.  Taxpayers are concerned about the additional $90,000 per year that each death penalty conviction costs.  Tax revenue is needed for retainment of more relevant services.  Therefore, the cruel, archaic practice of dragging people into death chambers will eventually end, as it should in any civilized country.  The impetus to repeal the death penalty would not be stopped if I never typed another word about it.  Find a new sport.

3)  Prison profiteering is obviously akin to slavery.  Using human beings as business commodities is odious.  Arresting young, non-violent people to use their youth and vigor as prison laborers must be something that prison profiteers know the public finds objectionable, or there would not be such censorship attached to what I write about it.  However, mine is not the only voice against the practice.  The petition to end private prisons was not generated by AIMI, but by another organization whose principal focus is that advocacy.

4)  To arrest a private citizen, especially a lifelong mentally ill heart patient, and return him to his family as a corpse without any records or accountability for his demise is immoral and illegal.  http://wrongfuldeathoflarryneal.com

Those who use their positions of public trust to conspire and hide Larry’s weeks of secret incarceration and death in Memphis Shelby County Jail are criminals.  This will be addressed, or the U.S. should amend its Pledge of Allegiance and Constitution to define "all" and "we" to clarify the exclusion applied to African American families or sick citizens like Larry was.  The Guantanamo-style arrest and death he suffered and the denial of investigation by the USDOJ should not happen in any country that calls itself democratic.  In just two days, America celebrates Independence Day.  It would be good to answer the Neals' FIOA Request to the USDOJ about Larry's death before shooting off any fireworks in honor of a nation with "freedom and justice for all."  The USDOJ response is overdue.

Attorneys who double-cross their own clients are corrupt beyond words, and other consumers should be warned.  Consumers have already been warned despite the fact that this news is kept out of mainstream media and BBB refused to take a report on The Cochran Firm.  Having clout with the media, consumer protection agencies, and the courts does not negate the fact that over 100,000 people have read my online articles, many of which are also reproduced on their websites.  Even if there was no Internet, word-of-mouth is powerful mass communication.  Consider the spread of Christianity and its success.

As far as my in-person stalking and potential for harm go, such acts are illegal and prove that criminals have no stopping-sense.  Be warned that there are yet some people the justice system who take their duty seriously, especially when public pressure is applied.  Moreover, God is still on His throne, and His dedication to justice cannot be quenched.

Censorship may actually give increased credibility to my writing.  Have you ever considered that?  But that is nothing compared to the spread and success of my advocacy efforts should you ever take it further.   Here is the good news - there is a release valve.  Do the right thing.

Censorship DOES NOT really help - for me, I usually leave abusive comments alone so others can "throw sticks and stones" at him. lol May be they should learn not to censor adult words!

Thanks for sharing your thoughts although I have to tell you that most mental patients do not get better with treatments and hospitalisations due to them ingesting prescription drugs that does NOTHINg except alter their perceptions.

If you've read on the 17 year old teenage (shooting spree in Germany before suicide) and the Alabama man who shot his mum n everyone else before firing into his own mouth, and also the chimpanzee who went "mad" and attacked its owner, then may be you know they're all dead now. They were on prescription drugs for depression.

Thanks for sharing, Kelly. There is truth in your remarks that not all meds help. In fact, some anti-depressants have produced suicidal tendancies in patients. I disagree, however, that this is applicable to "most" mental patients or even "most" psychiatric drugs.

People respond to drugs differently. Psychiatric drugs are like drugs for physical conditions in that respect. Some don't work as well as others for everyone. But if my headache does not go away when I take Tylenol, does that mean that Tylenol is no good? No. Does it mean that my headache is incurable? No. It only means that the doctor should try something else for me, but Tylenol works well enough for others.

And for the record, mentally ill people are more likely to become victims than abusers. Most of them who are incarcerated are not imprisoned for violent offenses. But mentally ill persons are vulnerable to attacks by people in their communities and frequently suffer injuries or death during lunacy arrests, even when they pose no danger to officers.

Most mental conditions are entirely treatable.

Blessings!
